A warm welcome from all of our preschool ladies.
All of our staff have up to date safeguarding and first aid training, along with other qualifications to help support the welfare and growth of the children in their care.
I live in Eastwell with my husband, 3 children and our cat and dog.
Me and my family enjoy going for walks and playing in the garden with our dog. We love to make cakes and dinner together as well as relaxing watching a film.
I enjoy hobbies such as running and playing hockey. Being active at Pre-School is really important to me so we like to support the children with running around the track in the morning and walks around the village as well as Yoga and sports activities.
I have enjoyed encouraging children to learn through their play here since 2014.
In 2016 I became the SENCO for the setting. This role is extremely rewarding as I support children with additional needs, helping them achieve their next steps developmentally and working hard to make sure they have the necessary support as they move on to primary education.
I have lived in Long Clawson since 2005 with my two children and our dog we rehomed called Delilah. When I am not working, my time is spent walking Delilah, meeting up with friends and enjoying new experiences together as a family.
I live in Syston with my family, my dog Rusty and my 2 cats.
I have been working at Long Clawson Preschool since September 2016 where I started off as an apprentice doing my NVQ level 3 in childcare.
I enjoy spending time with my friends, where we like to cook together and go on long adventures and picnics in the sunny weather.
I live in Long Clawson with my husband, two children and Fizz the cat.
I began at preschool in June 2018 as a parent helper. I really enjoyed it and took the opportunity to stay on when an opening for a permanent role became available.
I really enjoy being outdoors, any kinds of exercise and games, reading and singing, so these are always my favourite kinds of activities to do with the children at preschool.
Long Clawson Pre-School Committee is made up of staff and parents who currently have children at pre-school. We are ultimately here to ensure the running of a sustainable and forward thinking pre-school. Protecting the pre-school is central to the high standard of education and quality of care our children receive on a daily basis by supporting the staff. The Committee holds regular meetings throughout the year to discuss issues relating to the general running of pre-school, fundraising events and any topics for the benefit of the children. You may join the Committee at any time.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held every September, which is open for all parents to attend. This is your opportunity to learn more about what the Committee does, projects we are currently working on and a chance to join the Committee if you would like to take part too.
2021/2022 Committee:

If you would like to join our committee at any time, then please speak to one of the preschool lady's. As we are committee ran, we like to do annual fundraisers to raise money for new toys and equipment for the children at preschool. If you are interested in helping us organise our fundraisers, then please get in touch.
